Opera Mini was derived from the Opera web browser for personal computers, which has been publicly available since 1996.[13] Opera Mini was originally intended for use on mobile phones not capable of running a conventional Web browser.[14] It was introduced on 10 August 2005, as a pilot project in cooperation with the Norwegian television station TV 2,[15] and only available to TV 2 customers. Most Opera Mini versions use only the server-based compression method, with maximal compression but some issues with interactive web apps. Here's the image. I am not sure what the issue is here, but by looking at the URL it seems that the image is hosted using amazons3 and there might be some caching mechanism in it that opera isn't handling well. What are the workaround with these? I simply can't drop opera mini support as 50% of my site's traffic is coming from there. The best way to test this is by downloading Opera Mini on your devices (i was trying the simulator provided at the site here, but it didn't work)

Based on this, I can assume that the problem isn't related with cache or amazonaws, it's in the relation between opera mini and images with JFIF Resolution 1 pixels/None

In general, if 80% of your users are on opera mini, don't use a SPA. In fact, you may want to avoid javascript completely, using something like Django would be a much safer option and it would probably result in a smaller page for the user to download (and saving on data is one of the prime reasons people use Opera mini).

I had problem with my fortigate. If i access to blocked website with opera mini android its allowed, but when i access it from basic browser (chrome) its blocked. I had to add all of opera on application control with block state.
