Interestingly enough, when I launch timidity on an arbitrary music track before starting openttd, music also works as expected in OpenTTD. Then, I hear both the music from the timidity I started myself and from OpenTTD - but, if I suspend timidity (therefore muting it), OpenTTD music *still* works. This is the workaround I am currently using. Note that timidity must be suspended - killing timidity will let OpenTTD play the current song to its end but music is broken afterwards. Also note that starting OpenTTD before timidity does not work. Then, timidity fails with ...

I was absent from the openttd world for a few years and came back recently. First thing that suprised me was to only see path signals in the ui. Okay the news got me covered here ( -signals-ui-change).

I've been playing openttd for a while now and I still can't seem to fix cars bumper sticking each other. I have tried keeping them longer in the depo and then releasing them and setting up a time table of 5 days so they would have enough time to unload/load before leaving but I still end up with cars stuck right behind each other over time. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I've got a game that I started on OpenTTD on my Android phone, which I'd like to copy to my PC to continue playing. However, I can't seem to find where the saved game files are actually stored on the Android phone. When I check the save game dialog on Android, it lists the location as '/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/org.openttd.sdl/files/.openttd/save'. However, when I connect my phone to the PC, it gets as far as the /files folder, then it doesn't show a '.openttd' folder at all. Furthermore, when I type this in, it says it doesn't recognise the directory.

Additionally, you may install openttd-openmsxAUR to get the free OpenMSX music pack. Be sure to read through Timidity#Configuration to setup Timidity correctly, in particular, add yourself to the audio group and configure Timidity to use the Freepats SoundFont.

This starts the server and accepts additional commands. Configuration is generated and stored in ~/.config/openttd/openttd.cfg and is read every time the server starts. It can be overriden with commands issued directly to the server while running. Some settings cannot be changed during a game. ff782bc1db
