To collect the video and make it available in a web interface, Ifound the Zoneminder tool in Debian. A recent version was able toautomatically detect and configure ONVIF devices, so I could use it toset up motion detection in and collection of the camera output. I hadinitial problems getting the ONVIF autodetection to work, as bothFirefox and Chromium refusedthe inter-tab communication being used by the Zoneminder webpages, but managed to get konqueror to work. Apparently the "EnhancedTracking Protection" in Firefox cause the problem. Yes, to find the correct URL is the million dollar question .It use h.264 and it supports onvif. I have not found any information about the URL rtsp://xxx The port number 5050 is for what? For streaming video it is usually 554. For onvif it is a standard port that I dont remember for the moment. Strange that you cannot connect with onvif. Are you sure about the logins? When I use the wrong ones I can see that it sends the login, but then nothing happens.

If you go into the camera configuration there might be some info about connection string.

You can also use the program onvif Device Manager in which you find a lot of useful info. I think it is in the menu Image where you can see the URL at the top.

Good you can connect it. Device Managaer do not use any logins. onvif is only used for discovery in NCS at this time. To use PTZ in NCS it must be a template since PTZ use other ports and http. The PTZ commands are also a trick to find. We have discussed to also use the PTZ information in the onvif, but we are not there yet.

My camera says it is a V380E and firmware is very new, think it was may 2017 but still cannot connect using ONVIF although ONVIF manager finds it.

I am in the exact same position as Brandin A. and have never found any PTZ solution online. PTZ only works with V380 app on my iphone and MVCMS_lite on PC.

I have a webcam of the same make (Shenzen Bilian Electronics) and scanned the ports using Angry IP scanner. I found that on my device (the 360EYE), the ONVIF port is 8899. There are also open ports on 5040, 5050, 5051, 7050 and 8800.

I have purchased a Annke C500, and I think I have configured it correctly (enabled ONVIF in settings, added a userid and password on the User List).

The ONVIF discovery is working, the camera shows up in the payload, but when I configure it and try to use on any of the other nodes, it just says:

I checked and I can see the device settings, for example I can also see the events like motion detection in the event log. So all appears to be fine. With the onvif node, I get the error and status is disconnected on the node itself after I deploy. Even before I try to call any onvif functions.

Anyone looking at this thread later, it looks like the onvif intergration works on C500, but you need to user port 80 and not 5000. I am still puzzled why the Annke doc mentions 5000, but I got it working now.

I need to spend more time to explore what is possible, so I will be back later with an update.
