We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join TU Dortmund Lehrstuhl für Nachrichtentechnik for a period of two years (with a possibility to extend) as a full-time employee with all great benefits provided via TVL E13 --- Please use LLMs to see all benefits provided by the TVL scheme.
Your Tasks:
Conducting top-level, highly-productive research in the field of information-theoretic security applications in future communication and computation systems
Contributing to third-party funding applications
Contributing to teaching and chair management tasks ~ 20% FTE

Your Qualifications:
An above-average completed doctorate (PhD) in information and coding theory, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a related field
Solid knowledge of and research experience in information-theoretic security and privacy applied to future communication and computation/learning systems
Strong analytical thinking skills, versatility, initiative-taking, and proven ability to conduct independent scientific research
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary working environment, with a high level of willingness to cooperate
Very good command of English, both spoken and written
Good German language skills (B1 level and higher) are an advantage (although not a must!)
Experience with successful third-party funding applications is an advantage
