What we do: On the Road Wellness Services LLC provides in-home medical services by a licensed and insured nurse practitioner (NP). In Pennsylvania, a nurse practitioner who has collaborative agreement with licensed physician can prescribe medications and order tests when indicated.

Our practitioners specialize in caring for the older patient. Below are just a few examples of what we can do for you in the comfort of your own home:

Diagnose and treat minor infections
Perform wellness checks and physical examinations
Coordinate in-home laboratory testing and X-rays when possible
Examine and clean ears

It's important to note that our providers are not intended to replace your PCP or specialists. If necessary, we will contact your doctors during or after your home visit to inform them of our findings.

Who we serve:

Persons age 18 and older who need to see a medical provider but have difficulty leaving their places of residence.

Areas we visit:

Eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania including the Greensburg area. We are able to see patients outside the area, but a travel fee may be added.

Payment:

On the Road Wellness Services accepts cash/checks/credit cards for home visits. The cost is $88 for the first in- home visit and $68 for follow -up and subsequent visits. You can expect your first visit to last about one hour.

Currently, we are in the process of becoming credentialed with the following insurers: Medicare/Medicaid, UPMC, Aetna, United Health Group and Highmark. We expect to process home- visit insurance claims by early 2024.
