Dr Dan O’Sullivan
Dan is currently the Course Director for the Professional Masters in Business Education (PME) in the School of Education in the University of Limerick. Dan leads the Business Studies teaching team on the PME, including pedagogies in Accounting, Economics and Entrepreneurship. Dan began his career in Education in Youthreach. The Youthreach programme provides two years integrated education, training and work experience for unemployed early school leavers without any qualifications or vocational training who are between 15 and 20 years of age. Dan worked in 5 different Youthreach centres over 12 years before joining the University upon completion of his PhD entitled, Positive Youth Development and Resilience among Early School Leavers. Dan teaches course on Business Education, Special Educational Needs and Inclusion and Philosophy of Education. Eamonn Stack Mulvihill
Eammon is an Associate Teacher in Technology Education at the University of Limertick. Additionally, Eamonn is a seocond year PhD student in STEM education at TUS. His research is focused on investigating the uptake of STEM subjects & ultimately STEM careers. Eamonn's previous research has looked at perceptions of PBL in face to face versus hybrid environments, and exploring the potential of graphical education in enacting active citizenship. Dr Suzanne O’Keeffe
Suzanne is an Assistant Professor of Education in the Froebel Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education, Maynooth University, Ireland.Suzanne earned the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Ireland in 2016 specialising in gender and masculinities in education.
Dr Niamh Lafferty
Niamh is an Associate Professor in educational leadership at the University of Limerick and is the Course Director of the Masters in Educational Leadership program. Niamh teaches courses on research methods in her role. Her research areas include leadership, organizational culture, work identities, and the nature and impact of leadership.
Dr. Patrick Dundon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education and a faculty member of the Epi‑STEM National Centre for STEM Education at the University of Limerick. His doctoral research examined the assessment and regulation of N-mineralisation in grassland soils, reflecting early training in biological sciences, before transitioning to education. Dr. Dundon’s current research explores pre-service teachers’ experiences of school norms during placement, the impact of contemporary assessment modalities on Junior Cycle Science, and how pre-examinations influence the teaching and learning of Leaving Certificate Mathematics. He actively mentors PhD students and contributes to advancing STEM pedagogies and assessment practices.
