We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app "OneTapTransfer" handles user data, permissions, and local storage.
The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
The app does not use analytics services, advertising networks, user accounts, cloud databases, or tracking technologies.
All functionality is performed locally on the user's device.
OneTapTransfer is a utility application designed to simplify and speed up financial transfers performed through USSD codes.
The application serves only as a convenience tool and does not process, manage, or participate in any financial transactions. All transactions are handled exclusively by the mobile operator and the corresponding financial service providers.
The application helps users initiate USSD transfer requests.
After a USSD request is started, the resulting USSD session is displayed and managed by Android and the device's Phone application.
The application cannot access, read, record, monitor, or store:
Information displayed during a USSD session.
User selections made within a USSD session.
Transfer amounts entered by the user.
Account information entered during the USSD process.
Responses returned by the mobile operator.
The application does not read, scan, or access the device's contact list.
To simplify transfers, the app uses Android's official Contact Picker interface, allowing the user to manually choose a recipient.
The application receives access only to the contact explicitly selected by the user and does not obtain access to other contacts stored on the device.
For more information about Android's Contact Picker and its privacy protections, please refer to:
https://developer.android.com/about/versions/17/features/contact-picker
The CALL_PHONE permission is optional and is used solely to allow users to initiate transfer requests with a single tap.
The READ_PHONE_STATE permission is used exclusively to identify the currently selected mobile subscription and to allow the application to direct transfer requests through the user’s chosen SIM card on devices that support multiple SIM cards.
This permission is not used to access, collect, monitor, record, or store phone numbers, call logs, call content, voicemail information, communication data, or any personal information.
Users may choose not to grant these permissions and can still perform transfers using the device's standard phone application.
To improve user experience, the application may store a limited history of recent transfer actions and user preferences locally on the device.
This information is stored exclusively on the user's device and is never transmitted to external servers.
The stored information is used only to:
Display recent transfer actions.
Allow quick reuse of previous transfer details.
Improve convenience and usability.
The application does not require internet access for its core functionality.
No transfer information, contact information, personal information, or usage data is sent to external servers.
The application does not sell, rent, share, transfer, or disclose any user data to third parties.
The application is open source and its source code is publicly available for review.
