The App collects only the data you explicitly provide (which is stored locally on your device):

• Books you add (title, author, cover, pages)

• Reading sessions (time, pages read, dates)

• Notes, quotes, thoughts, and takeaways

• Reading goals and achievements

• Your display name and profile photo (optional)

• App preferences and settings

3. Local Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage (Hive with encryption). We do not have access to your data, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• OpenLibrary API — to search for and retrieve book information (titles, authors, covers, descriptions). When you search for a book, the search query is sent to OpenLibrary's public API. No personal data is shared with OpenLibrary.

• Google Play Services — for app distribution and updates.

5. Photos & Images

Photos you attach to books or set as your profile picture are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, access, or process these images on any external server.

6. Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App may send local reminders for reading goals. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external service or data transmission.

7. Analytics & Tracking

OneRead does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage patterns, browsing behavior, or any other personal activity.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your data stays on your device.

9. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by:

• Clearing the app's data from your device settings.

• Uninstalling the App. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
