If you want over-ear headphones for kids who need wired listening and flexible monitoring, choose OneOdio Pro50; if you need compact in-ear headphones with interchangeable silicone tips, choose Dioche Headphones Audiophile. For an on-ear headphones gift for kids, I would lean toward the Pro50’s padded, folding design, while the Dioche is the simpler fit for someone who specifically wants earbuds.
OneOdio Pro50 vs Dioche Headphones Audiophile at a Glance
• Dioche Headphones Audiophile strength: compact wired earbuds with a 3.5 mm plug and two pairs of silicone ear tips. Trade-off: the available specifications do not give a sensitivity figure, and the product has no listed over-ear cushions or monitoring swivel.
• Best fit for the Pro50: kids or adults who want cushioned, over-ear headphones for music, instrument practice, TV, or DJ-style monitoring.
• Best fit for the Dioche: listeners who prefer earbuds and want tip-size options for use with a compatible 3.5 mm connection.
The OneOdio Pro50 is the more substantial listening setup here. Its 50 mm dynamic drivers are intended to reproduce tonal detail and instrument placement, while the product description highlights a firm low-frequency response. That makes it the more plausible choice for a child who likes a weightier, bass-forward presentation, though the listed information does not quantify bass output or describe a child-specific sound limit. I would treat it as an adult-style wired headphone, not assume it has a volume limiter.
The over-ear layout has 3 cm-thick, double-layer memory-foam earpads. That cushioning and the stated sound-isolating design may help keep listening more contained than an open fit, and the product description says sound is not meant to leak out and bother others. There is no measured isolation figure, however, so I would not count on it to block all surrounding noise. The earcups swivel 90 degrees for monitoring with one ear, and the headphones fold into the included pouch for storage.
For practical flexibility, the Pro50 includes a 1.2 m straight cable and a 2 m coiled cable, both detachable. Its connections support 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm audio equipment, which is useful if a child’s listening moves between compatible devices, an instrument, or an amplifier. The trade-off is that it remains a wired, over-ear set, and the sheet identifies its age range as adult. Who should skip it: skip the Pro50 if the listener wants earbuds, wireless freedom, or a product specifically described for children.
The Dioche is a compact in-ear alternative rather than a direct match in wearing style. It has a 3.5 mm plug and a cable listed at approximately 120 cm, so it is aimed at wired listening with devices that accept that connection.
Two pairs of silicone ear tips are included, giving the listener options to try different fits. That can be useful for sharing between people or finding a more comfortable seal, though the provided information does not specify the tip sizes or guarantee a fit for every ear. The listed frequency-response range is 20–40,000 Hz and impedance is 26 ohms. Those figures describe the stated audio range and electrical impedance; they do not, by themselves, establish how loud the earbuds play or how they will sound to a particular listener. Sensitivity is left unspecified.
For a child, the small form and replaceable-tip options may be appealing if earbuds are already the preferred style. But the product sheet does not describe a volume limiter, headband adjustment, or noise isolation performance, so I would not infer those features. Its listed connection technology is inconsistent with the 3.5 mm plug specification, another reason to verify compatibility before choosing it. Who should skip it: skip the Dioche if the listener wants padded over-ear cups, one-ear monitoring, detachable cable choices, or clearly specified sound-isolating features.
• Best for an over-ear fit → OneOdio Pro50. It has oval, over-ear cups with substantial memory-foam padding; Dioche is an in-ear model.
• Best for an earbud-style gift → Dioche Headphones Audiophile. It is the only option here designed to sit in the ear, and it includes two pairs of silicone tips.
• Best for instrument practice or monitoring → OneOdio Pro50. Its 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm connections and 90-degree single-ear swivel are specific practical advantages for compatible equipment.
• Best for a deep-bass headphones-for-kids search → OneOdio Pro50, with a caveat. Its description emphasizes tight low frequencies and uses 50 mm drivers, but no bass measurement or child volume limit is provided.
• Best for a shorter, compact wired setup → Dioche. Its cable is listed at 120 ± 5 cm, and the earbuds do not have the folding over-ear structure of the Pro50.
• Best for cable flexibility → OneOdio Pro50. It includes a straight 1.2 m cable and a 2 m coiled cable, and both are detachable.
• Best for listed frequency-response and impedance figures → Dioche. It specifies 20–40,000 Hz and 26 ohms, although those numbers alone do not predict sound quality or loudness.
• Best headband headphones for kids → OneOdio Pro50, if an over-ear fit is wanted. It is the only headband-style choice, but the product information describes its age range as adult rather than child-specific.

Buying Considerations
For a child, fit and listening habits matter at least as much as driver size. The Pro50’s padded over-ear cups may suit someone who dislikes earbuds, while the Dioche may work better for a listener who finds in-ear headphones more comfortable. Neither product sheet lists a child-focused volume limiter, so a parent should consider how listening volume will be managed rather than assuming either set provides that protection.
Check the connection before buying. The Pro50 is wired and comes with 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm connection options, making it more adaptable to compatible audio equipment. The Dioche specifies a 3.5 mm plug and a roughly 120 cm cable, but its connectivity field is inconsistent with that plug detail. Confirm that the intended phone, computer, or other device has a compatible connection; neither sheet describes wireless operation.
Finally, think about how the headphones will be used day to day. The Pro50 folds and comes with a storage pouch, and its detachable cables and ear pads are described as replaceable for maintenance. The Dioche’s simpler in-ear form takes less room by design, but the available details do not describe a carrying case or replaceable cable. If price affects the choice, check the current price on Amazon using the page’s button; the product specifications alone do not establish which is the better value.
I would choose the OneOdio Pro50 for kids if the goal is a cushioned, over-ear wired set for home listening, instrument practice, or TV. Its 50 mm drivers, detachable cable choices, foldable design, and single-ear monitoring give it more use-case flexibility than the Dioche.
The Dioche makes more sense when a child specifically prefers in-ear headphones and needs silicone-tip options. But for a best-headband-headphones-for-kids shortlist, my pick is the Pro50, with the reminder that neither product is listed with a volume limiter.
The Pro50 is the over-ear option, with thick memory-foam earpads and a foldable design. The Dioche is an in-ear model with two pairs of silicone tips. Neither product sheet identifies a volume limiter or describes either model as specifically designed for children.
The Pro50’s description specifically emphasizes tight low-frequency playback and its 50 mm dynamic drivers. The Dioche lists a frequency-response range, but that range does not establish that its bass is stronger. Neither sheet provides a direct bass measurement.
The Dioche lists a 3.5 mm plug and names computers and smartphones among its intended uses. The Pro50 also has 3.5 mm connectivity, plus a 6.35 mm option for compatible equipment. Check the device’s available audio connection before choosing either wired set.
The Pro50 folds into its included storage pouch, and its cables and earpads are described as detachable. The Dioche is an in-ear design with a shorter listed cable, but its sheet does not specify a storage pouch or replaceable cable.
