If you want a complete, professional-grade wired audio solution for mixing and monitoring in your home office, choose OneOdio DJ Hi-Res Over-Ear; if you need a durable replacement part to repair a specific Beats model headband that has snapped, choose Adhiper Studio 3. These two items serve fundamentally different purposes, yet both appear in search results for people looking for studio-quality audio gear or reliable accessories for their work-from-home setup. The first is a full pair of headphones designed for deep listening and production, while the second is strictly a component meant to restore functionality to an existing device. Understanding this distinction is critical before you make a purchase decision.
• OneOdio DJ Hi-Res Over-Ear: Delivers powerful bass and clear vocals with 50mm drivers and swiveling cups for single-ear monitoring; the trade-off is it requires a wired connection with no built-in battery life.
• Adhiper Studio 3: Offers a robust plastic replacement headband kit with included tools to fix broken Beats Studio headphones; the trade-off is it is not a standalone product and works only with specific older Beats models.
• Who needs OneOdio: Audio professionals, podcasters, and gamers who need isolation and precise sound staging for long sessions at home.
• Who needs Adhiper: Owners of Beats Studio 2 or 3 wireless headphones who have suffered a snapped hinge or cracked band and need a DIY repair.
The OneOdio DJ Hi-Res Over-Ear is engineered for anyone who treats their desk as a serious workstation. Whether you are mixing tracks, recording voiceovers, or just trying to drown out the chaos of a busy household, the design prioritizes acoustic precision and physical endurance. The core of its performance lies in the large 50mm speaker drivers paired with neodymium magnets. This combination allows the unit to push out powerful bass without muddying the vocals or losing the crispness of the highs. You get a balanced stereo sound that reveals details often lost in cheaper consumer gear. For someone working from home who needs to hear every nuance in a track or every subtle inflection in a client call, this frequency response range of 20 Hz to 40 KHz provides a wide canvas for auditory detail.
Comfort is equally non-negotiable when you are wearing headphones for eight hours straight during a remote workday. The Pro-10 model addresses this with soft, padded ear cushions that offer effective noise isolation. While they do not use active electronic cancellation, the passive isolation created by the enclosure material helps block out ambient room noise. The adjustable, stretchable headband ensures a fatigue-free experience, allowing you to find the perfect fit without pinching your ears. Furthermore, the 90-degree swiveling ear cups are a game-changer for monitoring. You can rotate one side to listen with a single ear while keeping the other on your desk, a feature essential for DJs and mixers who need to monitor their output while hearing the environment around them.

However, this product is not for everyone. It is strictly a wired solution. The connectivity relies entirely on dual 3.5mm and 6.35mm jacks, meaning you must be tethered to your computer, mixer, or instrument. If you are looking for wireless freedom to move around the house while on a conference call, this is not the right tool. Additionally, the weight of 410 grams might feel substantial compared to ultra-light wireless buds, though the metal and plastic construction suggests durability. It comes with a nylon carrying case, which is a nice touch for storage, but it does not include a microphone or inline remote for taking calls on the go. It is a dedicated listening and production tool, not a multi-purpose commuter accessory.
The Adhiper Studio 3 serves a very narrow but vital niche: it is a repair kit, not a piece of audio equipment itself. This item is designed specifically for owners of Beats Studio 3 Wireless or Studio 2 Wireless (model A1914) headphones who have experienced a structural failure. When the top headband cracks or the hinges snap, the headphones often become unusable unless you replace the entire unit. This kit provides the missing shell, inner shell, and padding needed to restore the device to its original form factor. The product is made of plastic, which the manufacturer notes is sturdy and resistant to breaking under normal pressure, though it recommends testing the flexibility upon arrival.
This product fits a user who prefers to repair rather than replace. If you have sentimental attachment to a specific pair of Beats or simply want to save money on a new set, this kit offers a cost-effective path forward. The package includes everything necessary for a DIY repair: the replacement headband pad, a screwdriver, and four extra screws. The instructions suggest that even those with limited experience in disassembly and assembly can handle the installation by following visual guides. The color scheme is Black Gold, matching the aesthetic of the original devices. With a 12-month warranty on the part itself, there is some assurance regarding the quality of the replacement shell.
There are significant limitations to keep in mind. This is not a headphone; it will not produce sound on its own. It is also highly exclusive in compatibility. It only works with the Beats Studio 2 and Studio 3 A1914 models. If you have a newer Beats model, a Sony, or any other brand, this part will not fit. The dimensions are small, roughly 0.8 x 2 x 1.2 inches, reflecting its nature as a component. It is not a "best foldable earbuds" alternative, nor is it a waterproof option for kids. It is purely a mechanical fix for a specific, well-known over-ear headphone line. If your headphones are not broken, or if they are a different model entirely, this purchase is irrelevant to your workflow.

I would buy the OneOdio DJ Hi-Res Over-Ear if my goal was to establish a high-quality audio station for work from home. The ability to monitor with one ear while listening with the other, combined with the detailed sound profile from the 50mm drivers, makes it a versatile tool for content creation and music production. It solves the problem of needing professional-grade sound without the bulk of active noise-canceling electronics. Conversely, I would only recommend the Adhiper Studio 3 if I were standing in front of a broken pair of Beats Studio 3 headphones and needed to get them back in use immediately. It is a fantastic utility item for a specific repair scenario, but it cannot function as a primary listening device. For anyone building a home office setup from scratch, the OneOdio is the clear winner because it delivers actual audio performance rather than just a replacement part.
The OneOdio DJ Hi-Res Over-Ear is excellent for listening to audio during calls due to its clarity, but it lacks a built-in microphone, so you would need a separate mic. The Adhiper part does not produce sound at all and is only for repairing existing headphones.
No, the OneOdio unit comes with a cable and supports standard 3.5mm and 6.35mm jacks, making it compatible with most computers, mixers, and instruments without needing adapters.
You will need the included screwdriver and screws to install the Adhiper replacement headband. The process involves disassembly and reassembly, but the kit is designed to be manageable for users who are comfortable with basic mechanical tasks.
No, the OneOdio DJ Hi-Res Over-Ear is a wired-only device. It relies on a physical connection via its 3.5mm and 6.35mm ports and does not have Bluetooth or internal battery power.
