At One Heart Foundation, our mission is to restore hope, dignity, and purpose by serving the unseen and uplifting the unheard. We exist to empower foster and in-need youth, advocate for women, protect animals, and share the transforming love of the Gospel. Through holistic outreach, community-driven programs, and faith-rooted advocacy, we walk beside every soul from unseen to unstoppable.
One Heart Foundation — From Unseen to Unstoppable
Christina is a former foster youth who has survived many trial and tribulations out in the world. She has a heart for others and strives to give everyone a helping hand.
We set up a booth where youth could drop in and express themselves through freestyle painting, while we shared our mission and initiatives with the community.
Our mascot, Knight, is our founder's ESA. He is a sweet, goofy, fun loving dog.
Founder Credentials: Christina is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration and holds a certificate in Business and Accounting. She has served as a mentor with PDAB Youth in Paducah, KY, providing guidance and support to local youth. In 2025, she contributed as a staff member at the Youth Conference under Voices of the Commonwealth (VOC), an organization advocating for foster youth. Additionally, Christina gained direct experience working with foster youth through her role with iFoster as part of the TAY AmeriCorps program.
How One Heart Foundation came to be: One Heart Foundation was born from a place of deep personal experience, faith, and an unwavering desire to bring light into the lives of others. Its founder, Christina, grew up in a difficult environment—one that required her to mature far earlier than most. Life didn’t offer her many easy paths, but what it did offer her was a strong sense of resilience and a deep-rooted compassion for others who walk through similar storms.
Raised in the church, Christina always held a close relationship with Christ and a desire to live out His calling to love and serve others. That foundation of faith became her anchor through life’s trials and a guiding light in her darkest seasons. Even as a child, she felt the tug on her heart to reach those who were hurting, forgotten, or struggling to find their voice.
As she grew older, the hardships she endured didn’t harden her—they refined her purpose. Instead of turning inward, she turned outward, devoting her energy to lifting others up. She realized that so many people, especially youth, were carrying invisible burdens much like the ones she once carried—burdens of trauma, loneliness, or feeling unseen. And for many of them, no one was there to help them carry it.
That realization became a calling, and that calling became One Heart Foundation.
Christina created One Heart not just as an organization, but as a safe space—one where compassion meets action. It’s a place where young people can feel heard, loved, and empowered to heal. A place that reminds every soul it touches that they matter, that their story isn’t over, and that one heart can heal many hearts.
Our Paint, Snack, and Speak event is happening on March 3rd, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, and the community is invited to join us. This special gathering will feature Independent Living foster youth courageously sharing their stories and lived experiences from behind the veil of the foster care system. Community members will also have the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions, gain deeper understanding, and engage in open dialogue—all while enjoying fun, expressive painting in a safe and creative space.
