Enies Robbie

Robin and Frankie are taken by CP9 and arrive at the Enies Lobby, the "Island of Justice". There, CP9's Jabra, Kumadori, Owl, and CP9 Secretary Spandam were waiting for Lucci's return. On the other hand, Luffy and the others, who joined Sanji and Soge King, also arrive on the island. Luffy single-handedly defeated 10,000 Marines and broke through the siege. In front of him, CP9's Bruno stands in his way, but Luffy defeats it with his new move "Gear 2 (Second)". 

The friends fight hard to save Robin. But Robin told them, "I'm not anymore... I want to die!!! and refuse to do so. Because he was able to read the "text of history (Poneglyph)", Robin has been chased by the world government since he was a child, and has lived in a world where betrayal is commonplace. By being by your side, your "precious friends" will continue to be targeted by the world government, and because of this, they may abandon you someday. That was what scared Robin more than anything else. 

Upon hearing this, Luffy has the Soge King shoot through the World Government flag. It was Luffy's "declaration of war" on the World Government, which had been tormenting his friends. Robin, who has been denied life until now, learns that his friends are trying to save him from the bottom of his heart, and for the first time, he expresses his desire to live. 

In order to free Robin, the Straw Hat Gang challenges CP9 to battle. Despite being forced to struggle with CP9's high combat ability, Zoro and the others manage to defeat it. All that's left is Luffy and Lucci, the final battle between the two. However, in the midst of this, Spandam mistakenly requests a "buster call". As the naval fleet rains down on the Enies Lobby, Luffy activates his trump card, Gear 3 (Third). In addition, he uses his remaining strength in "Gear 2" and finally defeats Lucci. 

Although they defeated CP9, the Straw Hat Gang was surrounded by a naval fleet and cornered. But then a mysterious voice says, "Look down." Following the voice, the friends jump into the sea. Waiting there was the Merry, which was supposed to have disappeared into the stormy sea in Water Seven. Luffy and the others board the Merry, break through the naval siege, and escape from the Enies Lobby. 

Shortly after shaking off the Navy, the Merry is wrecked as if it had done its job. At Iceberg's words, "Let me sleep now," Luffy decides to let the Merry go. As Luffy and the others watch over the ship as it is engulfed in flames, the "voice" of the Merry arrives. It was a word of gratitude to the "friends" who had always cherished him. 

Back at Water Seven, Luffy and the others decide to have Franky build a new ship. However, just then, Vice Admiral Garp, who is touted as a hero of the Navy, visits Luffy with his subordinates Coby and Helmeppo. The friends are shocked to learn that Garp is Luffy's grandfather. In addition, it is revealed that the mysterious man who helped Luffy in Rogue Town, the "world's worst criminal" and "revolutionary" Dragon, is Luffy's biological father. This was the first time even Luffy had heard of it. Luffy and Coby are happy to see each other again after a long absence. When they parted, Luffy and the others vowed to meet again in the New World, the sea in the second half of the Grand Line.

A few days later, along with the news of the ship's completion, news arrives that "all" of the Straw Hat Gang have become bounty hunters. The new arrangement also included Frankie's name. Luffy invites Frankie to join him, but Franky declines the invitation, believing that protecting the Water Seven is his mission. However, he was persuaded by Iceberg and his family's younger siblings to join the Straw Hat Gang as a "boat builder". And Usopp, who was unable to return to the gang due to a quarrel breakup, apologizes and says, "Please join me again," and is welcomed into the group again. When the Straw Hat Gang finally has all the members, they shake off their pursuer Garp on a new ship, the Thousand Sunny, and head for their next destination, Fishman Island. 

Meanwhile, Ace, who has been chasing Blackbeard to make amends for the murder of his friends, is finally caught on Banaro Island. The two of them collide. The power of Blackbeard's "Yamiyami", which nullifies the power of the "Devil Fruit" ability, hunts down Ace.
