This section presents the outline and results of the durability tests conducted on ONE-HAND MIXING® conductive glue, used for rear window repair applications. The purpose of these evaluations was to verify its long-term reliability under automotive environmental conditions.
✅Thermal Shock Test
Test Specimen Configuration
Simulating rear window defroster tab bonding, test pieces were prepared by attaching metal tabs to glass plates using ONE-HAND MIXING® conductive glue. (See illustration below.)
Test Conditions
Repeated temperature cycling between –20 °C (–4 °F) and 85 °C (185 °F), with 12 minutes of cooling and 12 minutes of heating per cycle.
Test Results
Appearance: After 5,000 cycles, minor cracking was observed in the fillet area, but no abnormalities or detachment occurred at the bonding interface.
Conductivity: No decrease in electrical conductivity was observed even after 5,000 cycles.
✅Weather Resistance Test
Test Specimen Configuration
Simulating rear window defroster grid line repair, test pieces were prepared by applying ONE-HAND MIXING® conductive glue onto glass plates.

Test Conditions
Xenon lamp output: 100 W/m²
Black panel temperature: 63 °C (145 °F)
Relative humidity: 50 %
Test Results
Appearance: After 1,500 hours of continuous exposure, no peeling or chipping was observed.
Conductivity: Electrical conductivity remained stable with no noticeable degradation.
Note: 1,500 hours of xenon exposure is equivalent to approximately two years of outdoor use under typical environmental conditions.
✅Summary
Both the thermal shock and weather resistance tests confirmed that ONE-HAND MIXING® conductive glue maintains strong bonding reliability and stable conductivity under severe automotive conditions. These results demonstrate its long-term durability and suitability for professional vehicle repair applications.
