I'm very confused. I have an old Acer chromebook (cb5-571) that is running chrome OS Flex now, with Mr Chromebox firmware. In the About ChromeOS page, there is no indication when does the support end, so I thought the support will simply go on forever.

Does this mean I can just keep updating Chrome OS Flex on this old chromebook forever? Besides losing Android (no touch screen so no big deal) I really haven't felt anything that is missing from this chromebook.

If you open devtools on that page, and increase the value of flex-grow on the div.choose-one the buttons will grow. But when you decrease the value, they keep growing. It doesn't seem possible to reset back to the original state.

The pen comes with several nib options, so if you just want a beautiful fountain pen and not necessarily a flex pen, there are other nibs available, too. My goal, though, was a flex pen. The flex nibs are the last two in the list, and I received the Steel EF Ultra Flex Nib, which I love.

The base price of the pen, at this writing, is $35.00. The Steel EF Ultra Flex nib is an additional $14.00. So, the cost of the pen, with the Ultra Flex nib is $49.00, which is a great price for a beautiful flex nib pen that works this well. As I mentioned above, there are other pen options that are even more affordable at the site.

For us, we export at the log off however we've ran into issues with importing wen Directflex was in use. Once we switched it to import at logon it appears to be working. To me it seems like chrome is running some processes at the logon and that is why directflex is not working but I might be wrong. Similarly, we are using Cisco Jabber that launches at the machine boot and logs in user automatically when user logs in. For this one I wish I could use direct flex but it doesn't seem to work either.

As mentioned, this is an acrylic pen with chrome trim and can feature either a standard nib option or the FPR Flex nib. These peens are manufactured in India for Fountain Pen Revolution. FPR also adds a custom ebonite feed to help improve overall ink flow.

Thanks for this review. I got a FPR Airmail pen with an ultra flex nib and ebonite feed. I love it 99% of the time, til I get those hard starts. Thanks for the reminder to keep a water glass etc nearby.

Hey I used my Pendrive for boot to the chrome OS flex

The original size of my USB is 64GB but now it is just displaying 31 and the rest is not even visible as free space

I just formatted it but still no progress

Pleas tell me how to get my pen drive back properly

The demo then changes the flex-basis on the first item. It will then grow and shrink from that flex-basis. This means that, for example, when the flex-basis of the first item is 200px, it will start out at 200px but then shrink to fit the space available with the other items being at least min-content sized.

ChromeOS,[8] sometimes styled as chromeOS and formerly styled as Chrome OS, is a Linux-based operating system developed and designed by Google. It is derived from the open-source ChromiumOS and uses the Google Chrome web browser as its principal user interface.

Canonical was an early engineering partner on the project,[23] and initially ChromiumOS could only be built on an Ubuntu system. In February 2010, the ChromiumOS development team switched to Gentoo Linux because Gentoo's package management system Portage was more flexible.[24] The ChromiumOS build environment is no longer restricted to any particular distribution, but installation and quick-start guides use Debian's (and thus also Ubuntu's) apt syntax.

In March 2010, Google software security engineer Will Drewry discussed ChromeOS security. Drewry described ChromeOS as a "hardened" operating system featuring auto-updating and sandbox features that would reduce malware exposure. He said that ChromeOS netbooks would be shipped with Trusted Platform Module (TPM), and include both a "trusted boot path" and a physical switch under the battery compartment that activates a "developer mode". That mode drops some specialized security functions but increases developer flexibility. Drewry also emphasized that the open-source nature of the operating system would contribute greatly to its security by allowing constant developer feedback.[135]

These steel custom adjusted #6 flex nibs have been custom ground at the shoulders to offer a much softer ultra flex feel. They write with an extra fine 0.4mm line on the thin end and 2.0mm fully flexed and are tipped with top quality German made material for a smooth writing experience. e24fc04721
