Rice of a Thousand Years

We know the soil.

We know the river water that yields such exceptionally delicious rice.

We know the sound of the wind that summons the rain, the names of the weeds that cause trouble,

the color of the sky on harvest day, and the songs of birds as the snow melts.

And above all, we know that each of these things

has sustained human life.

May the cycle of life that has continued here since ancient times

endure unchanged for another thousand years.

Living in this very moment,

we are living in both the past and the future.

That is the kind of product we bring to you.
