OAKDALE, Minn. -- OnApplied has extended the beta-test preview of the "PipeDraft" plug-in for SketchUp(TM) application to a limited public audience. Previously, the preview was private to a select group of SketchUp users to provide early feed-back across the supported PC and Mac platforms. The preview has now been opened to a limited public audience.
"We look forward to getting more feed-back on this preview of PipeDraft before it's released to the entire SketchUp community. It's the first SketchUp plug-in extension for pipe drafting that's compatible with the Apple Mac. The response from Mac loving SketchUp devotees has been marvelous. SketchUp has millions of global users and we're pleased to provide a piping solution that's available on both Windows and Mac platforms."
The PipeDraft plug-in for SketchUp is well suited to design professionals that use the popular SketchUp application in their work-flows and need to create specification-driven 3D piping in their models. It's the first solution in the piping and plant design CAD industry powered by a public facing cloud service.
Demonstration tutorials of the plug-in can be seen on the YouTube PipeDraft channel.
