The FCC will be reinstating fees for Ham Radio Licenses and Renewals - at $35 per license/renewal. There is no effective date as of this writing.

OMIK IS ON ZOOM! You can be in touch with the members of OMIK via Zoom Video Conferencing (The Zoom Room)! Here is the info OMIK Zoom Meetings Available weekly 23 hours a day until February 2022.

We have set up an OMIK Zoom Meeting Room that is available daily. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at specific times the Zoom Room will be available to members of the different Areas 0 through 9, and on Tuesday and Thursday, the Zoom Room can be used without scheduling for Special OMIK meetings or simply as a place to login and find other members.

The Weekly Meeting Schedule is as follows: Area Meeting Rooms Schedule - (Note: Times are all indicated in Pacific Time Zone)

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday

• Areas 1, 2, & 3 - From 8 AM to 11 AM

• Areas 4, 5 - From 11 AM to 2 PM

• Areas 8, 9, & 10 From 2 PM to 5 PM

• Areas 6 & 7 - From 5 PM to 8 PM

QSO Virtual Hamfest Is Happening! March 13 - 14

Since many organizations had to cancel their get-togethers due to the pandemic (including the OMIK 2021 Convention), the QSO Virtual HamFest was created last year, and is coming back bigger and better this year - 82 speakers, exhibitors, demonstrations, workshops, and more! All for $12.50 for the total hamfest!
