OM Tab Archiver is a browser extension for saving open browser tabs into a local chronological feed, organizing saved groups, searching archived tabs, and restoring them later.

Data handled by the extension

Local storage

Tab archive data and extension settings are stored locally in the user's browser profile.

This includes saved groups, tab information, notes, interface preferences, themes, backup settings, and related application data required for the extension's functionality.

Data transmission

OM Tab Archiver does not transmit saved URLs, page titles, browsing history, notes, archive contents, settings, backups, or other archive data to OM Studio or to any remote server.

The extension does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising, tracking, or remotely hosted executable code.

Browser data

OM Tab Archiver accesses information about browser tabs in order to save and restore them.

This may include URLs and page titles and therefore constitutes browsing-history-related data.

The extension does not read the contents of web pages, such as page text, images, form contents, passwords, or private communications.

OM Tab Archiver may access browser download information locally when required to manage backup and export files created by the extension.

If the optional bookmarks feature is used, the extension may access browser bookmarks only as required to perform the user-requested bookmark operation.

Backups and exports

Users can create local backup and export files containing their archived tab information.

Depending on the selected format, these files may contain:

Data sharing and sale

OM Studio does not sell user data.

OM Studio does not transfer user data to third parties except where required by applicable law.

User data is not used for advertising, creditworthiness assessment, lending, profiling, or purposes unrelated to the core functionality of OM Tab Archiver.

User control

Users can edit or delete archived groups and tabs from within the extension.

Removing the extension or clearing its browser storage may remove locally stored archive data.

Backup and export files previously downloaded to the user's computer remain under the user's control and are not automatically deleted when the extension is removed.

Scheduled operations

If the user enables scheduled exports, OM Tab Archiver may use browser scheduling functionality to create local export files at the configured time.

These operations do not transmit archive data to OM Studio.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated if the functionality or data-handling practices of OM Tab Archiver change.
