If you want a complete protective ecosystem with a dedicated cleaning kit for your Bose earbuds, choose Olytop Bose QuietComfort Earbuds; if you need a lightweight, carabiner-equipped cover for TAGRY earbuds that stays attached to your belt or bag, choose claiol Silicone Case. This isn't a battle of audio performance, because neither product is an earbud itself—these are accessories designed to safeguard two very different charging cases. As someone who wears glasses daily, I know the specific friction points that come with managing small tech gear while navigating a busy day. The fit of an accessory can make or break your comfort, especially when you are constantly adjusting frames or dealing with sweat during workouts.
• Olytop: Offers heavy-duty shock protection and includes a specialized 3-in-1 cleaning tool, but adds bulk and requires a separate purchase of the actual Bose case to function. Best for Bose owners who prioritize maintenance and comprehensive protection.
• claiol: Features a built-in carabiner for hands-free portability on bags or pants, using soft silicone for a smooth feel, but is limited strictly to the TAGRY X08 model. Best for active users who need their earbuds always within reach without digging into pockets.
The Olytop solution is engineered specifically for the owners of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II, Ultra, and the newer 2nd Gen models. It is not an audio device; it is a precision-molded shell designed to encase the charging case. What stands out immediately in the data is the inclusion of a multi-function cleaning kit. This isn't just a cover; it comes with a flocking sponge, a soft brush, and a metal pen tip. For anyone who wears glasses, I understand how easily dust and debris from lenses or frames can migrate onto your tech. Having a dedicated tool right in the package to scrub away stubborn dirt from the charging contacts or the earbuds themselves is a thoughtful feature that goes beyond simple aesthetics.
The material choice here is premium grade silicone, molded into a one-piece design. This ensures the top cover never gets lost, which is a common annoyance with two-piece cases. The design allows the front LED indicator to remain visible even when the case is covered, so you can check your battery level or wireless charging status without fumbling to peel back the skin. The weight is minimal at roughly 0.04 kg, making it barely noticeable in a pocket, yet it promises shock-absorbing properties against drops, scratches, and bumps.
You should buy this if you own a Bose QC series case and want a "set it and forget it" protection strategy that also keeps your gear clean. The integrated keychain adds a layer of security, ensuring you don't misplace the case entirely. However, if you do not own a compatible Bose case, this product is useless to you. It is also worth noting that the packaging explicitly states the charging case is not included, so this is purely an add-on for existing owners. If you are looking for a standalone earbud solution or something that fits other brands, this will not work.

The claiol Silicone Case takes a completely different approach by targeting the TAGRY X08 Wireless Earbuds market. Its primary selling point is the built-in carabiner. Unlike the Olytop option which sits passively in a pocket, this case is designed to be hung. You can clip it directly onto a backpack strap, a pair of pants, or a belt loop. This keeps your earbuds always beside you, ready to grab instantly without searching through a bag. For people who are constantly moving, running errands, or working in environments where they cannot afford to stop and dig for their gear, this physical tethering is a game-changer.
The construction relies on high-quality, soft-touch silicone that is described as friendly to the body. This suggests a texture that won't snag on clothing or irritate the skin when clipped to your waistband. The shockproof nature of the material provides necessary defense against accidental drops, protecting the plastic casing of the TAGRY earbuds inside. The color is black, offering a sleek, uniform look that matches most modern tech gear. Like its competitor, it is a single unit that does not include the actual earbuds or charging case.
This product is ideal for the active individual who needs mobility over storage convenience. If you are a runner, a cyclist, or someone who moves between job sites, having the carabiner means you never have to worry about leaving your earbuds behind or losing them in a pile of gym clothes. However, the limitation is strict compatibility; it fits only the TAGRY X08. If you have any other brand, including the Bose models discussed earlier, this case will not fit. It is a specialized tool for a specific user, not a universal protector.
• Best for Maintenance and Hygiene → Olytop Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (includes the 3-in-1 cleaning kit).
• Best for Hands-Free Portability → claiol Silicone Case (built-in carabiner for clipping to clothing).
• Best for Drop Protection on Specific Cases → Both offer shock absorption, but Olytop is tailored for the larger Bose form factor.
• Best for Visibility of Indicators → Olytop Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (LED remains visible through the silicone).
• Best for Glasses Wearers on the Go → claiol Silicone Case (keeps items secure and accessible, reducing fumbling).
• Best for Bulk Reduction → claiol Silicone Case (simpler profile with no extra tools attached).
• Best for Comprehensive Care → Olytop Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (protective shell plus cleaning tools in one box).
• Best for Active Lifestyle Attachment → claiol Silicone Case (securely hangs from bags or belts).
When considering the needs of glasses wearers, the distinction becomes sharper. Many of us deal with smudged lenses or dust accumulation throughout the day. The Olytop option acknowledges this reality by providing the tools to clean your gear immediately. If your priority is keeping your Bose earbuds pristine and free of debris that might affect sound quality or fit, the cleaning kit is a significant advantage. On the other hand, if your struggle is losing your earbuds in the chaos of a busy day, the claiol carabiner offers a physical solution to prevent loss entirely.
For those seeking hi-res over ear headphones for glasses wearers, neither of these products applies directly, as both are cases. However, if you are pairing these with sports earbuds for glasses wearers, the claiol case offers a distinct advantage in terms of accessibility. You can wear your glasses comfortably while your earbuds hang securely from your pocket, eliminating the need to reach into a bag every time you want to listen. Conversely, the Olytop case is more about preserving the integrity of a premium device like the Bose, ensuring that the investment in the audio hardware is protected by a rugged, cleanable shell.
In my opinion, I would choose the claiol Silicone Case if my primary concern was mobility and preventing loss during active use. The carabiner feature transforms the case from a passive container into an active part of my daily carry, which is essential for someone who moves constantly. However, if I were a serious audiophile owning the Bose QuietComfort line, I would lean toward the Olytop option because the included cleaning kit addresses the specific hygiene challenges of maintaining high-end audio gear. For glasses wearers who often find themselves wiping down lenses and equipment, the Olytop's attention to cleanliness is a thoughtful touch that adds real value beyond simple protection. Ultimately, the decision rests on whether you need to carry your gear better (claiol) or clean and protect it better (Olytop).
Yes, the Olytop case is designed to fit the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II, the Ultra (2023), and the 2nd Gen (2025) models perfectly due to its precision molding.
The claiol case description focuses on its shockproof silicone material and carabiner attachment; it does not explicitly confirm wireless charging compatibility, so you may need to remove it to charge depending on thickness.
The Olytop kit includes a flocking sponge, soft brush, and metal pen tip, which are standard tools for removing stubborn dirt and dust from electronics, though effectiveness depends on user technique.
The carabiner is designed for hanging items on bags or pants, and since it is made of hard material attached to soft silicone, it should not damage fabric unless subjected to extreme force or sharp edges.
