@HotCakeX I appreciate the update, and this is a nice addition for desktop users, but this isn't what I requested. I asked for better touchscreen support for fullscreen mode. The browser still instructs me to "Press F11 to exit fullscreen mode" even when there's no keyboard attached. And the nice UI overlay you added doesn't appear on a touchscreen; there's no way to trigger it.
And please make sure by release it doesn't say "Press F11 to exit fullscreen" when the keyboard is detached. That's the worst part and is the kind of thing that people poke at Microsoft for. I still have no idea how to exit fullscreen mode without a keyboard. And this update seems to have made it worse by getting rid of the little circle-X that used to appear on (I think) long press near the top of the screen. Instead, it now pops up a context menu and you have to tap a menu item that says "Press F11 to exit fullscreen." That is definitely not how it should work.

Update, the problem appeared again. I can swear it was gona the other day but today i went to BBC, played a video on fullscreen and after going back to normal mode, there was the black bar at the top again. then I went to YouTube and same thing happened.

Next, connect to your Cloud Desktop and then switch to Window mode. Once in Window mode, stretch the edges of the window so that you are spanning it across both external monitors and have almost full coverage of both monitors. Finally, switch to full screen mode and then logoff (don't disconnect) your Cloud Desktop session.
However when the browser is in PDF fullscreen mode (not F11 nor not the Maximize button... you get to "PDF Fullscreen mode" by clicking the icon in the upper right with a diagonal line with arrow heads on both ends). When you are in this mode, you cannot access the annotation tools, you can only move forward and back through the slides.
Hitting F11 to enter fullscreen mode was always kind of a bummer with Edge because when you moused to the top of your screen, all that Edge would show you were the three buttons in the top-right corner to minimize the window, exit fullscreen mode or close Edge. This meant that you needed to exit fullscreen mode to do anything other than those three actions. Now, when you mouse to the top of Edge in fullscreen mode you see those three buttons but also your open tabs and the URL bar, creating a fullscreen mode you are much more likely to use.
@AUaero , I am coming to this thread a few years late lol, but I am wondering if your siuation is similar enough to mine to help me out. I am trying to deplpoy Power BI dashboards to my digital signage in a manufactuirng environment, yet every 24 houts my PBI (microsoft account) session times out and demands I resign in. One thing I thought was to force my device to restart every night at 1 am, and upon restarting run this script to login and open the dashboard. What are your thoughts on this?
Furhtermore, I may need a edge browser or LINUX version of the code you shared for PBI open on startup.
Also, I am surprised at the general lack of community support for digital signage applications of Power BI
I upgraded to Acrobat Pro 2023 yesterday, and had this problem. Terra5E96's Solution 1 worked for me, however on a Mac you can press Cmd+L to go in and out of fullscreen mode. Once you come out, you can finally see the resize arrows at the sides or corners of your window.
Using VLC player, it occasionally covers the whole screen but more often than not leaves grey bar across top of the page. Tried checking and unchecking 'Use the native fullscreen mode on OS X Lion'. This doesn't seem to make much difference. Still variable as to whether the grey bar is across the top of the screen when entering full screen.
3. Now, click on anything on your primary/mac display. Note: Sometimes I noticed that the video must be "playing" on VLC (Not in fullscreen mode) on the external display already for this to work. Most of the times it works in pause mode as well.
I figured out a way to so fix some of the problem. It doesn't work on youtube/adobe flash in Firefox, but it works on Firefox, itunes, and VLC. I put the solution into a script that also does normal fullscreen toggling. So if you add the script to a keyboard shortcut, or, like me, to the EJECT key, the script will fix the problem if there is any, switch to window mode if in fullscreen, and switch to fullscreen if in window mode.
Another workaround could be to fake somehow invisible Overlay, like an invisible navigation bar or that the program is whole time in "window" mode (but it's actually fullscreen). Any tip would be great here.
The issue is even on the test video of the Windows 10 video test when you go to Settings -> Apps -> Video -> start the video, set to fullscreen and wait until navigation bar gets vanish -> it shortly will stutter.

what causes this? can it be fixed? this only happens in full screen mode. also with full screen can the ds screens be stretched to the edge of the computer screen instead of having the extra space on the sides?
that would be fine if it weren't stretching the picture and making it distorted. the emulator DS screens touch edge to edge of the emulator window in the vertical position and single screen mode. so can it be edited to work the same in the horizontal position? aka example in the picture linked above?
by the way i noticed something in openGL 3.2 (doesnt happen in soft) objects that have graphics on the edge of the game model over lap to the opposite side. its hard to explain but the pictures above show this issues. i noticed it a year ago ago i just forgot to do a bug report on it. looks like something that rogerman could fix though.
