Volunteer

Membership involvement is critical to the success of OLLI-UW! All members are encouraged to participate in one of the following ways.

Be a Course Liaison

Course liaisons serve as the communication link between the OLLI-UW office and the instructor and class participants. Liaisons play an important role in the classroom, assisting the instructor and welcoming members. Specific duties include distributing handouts, maintaining the attendance roster, reading announcements, managing the course evaluations, and encouraging ongoing interaction among class participants before or after class. If you are interested in becoming a course liaison, please answer "Yes" when asked "Are you interested in becoming a course liaison?" while registering for courses through Cvent.

Lead a Study Group

If you are interested in leading a study group, check out the OLLI-UW Study Group Overview. This one page document outlines the criteria for a study group, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the group facilitator and the process for initiating a study group.
