With clinical expertise in manual, mind-body and psychotherapy approaches, Dr. Cynthia Price has bridged the realms of conventional and complementary health services and related interdisciplinary education and research for the past 35 years. Dr. Price's research is focused on the study of integrative care in community-based clinical settings that use manual and mindfulness-based interventions for individuals with pain, trauma, substance-use disorders and co-morbid mental and physical health conditions. She is the principal investigator on an NIH-funded R01 study, "Mindful Awareness in Body-oriented Therapy for Women in Treatment for Substance-use Disorders." Her research experience includes working with mixed methods, overseeing implementation of multisite clinical trials and management of interdisciplinary teams.
