Olivia S. Kim

I am an assistant professor in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit at the Harvard Business School. My research examines how firms and households make financial decisions, focusing on the role of the family and access to credit markets. 


I completed ​my Ph.D. in Financial Economics at MIT Sloan in 2022. I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Economics of an Aging Workforce at the National Bureau of Economic Research for the 2022-2023 academic year. Before MIT, I worked at Blueprint Labs and the Federal Reserve Board. I did my BA in Economics at Smith College
