Stress Everyday is an experimental video piece that explores the psychological strain of daily life through a raw, sensory-driven narrative. The video features an original score composed entirely of manipulated everyday objects, footsteps amplified by a shoe hitting the floor, the hollow resonance of a water bottle, the sporadic bounce of a ping pong ball, each sound layered to create a jagged, percussive rhythm that mirrors the protagonist’s unraveling mental state.
At the center is Sarah, a woman navigating a reality distorted by unseen forces. Strange, surreal creatures emerge throughout her routine: manifestations of a psychological disorder that remains unnamed, yet palpable. Their persistent presence interrupts her day-to-day existence, challenging her attempts to maintain control. While Sarah tries to ignore them, the oppressive rhythm of the soundtrack builds, echoing the internal chaos she cannot escape.
Stress Everyday fuses sound design, abstraction, and performance to depict the isolating experience of invisible mental struggle, culminating in a visceral audiovisual portrait of breakdown.
