BSc. (2014) and MSc. (2016) degrees in Computer Science by Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). PhD in Computer Science (2020) by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Currently a professor of Computer Science at the Department of Informatics at Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV) and a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics/University of Sao Paulo (IME/USP). Research areas include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Domain Adaptation, Deep Generative Models, Few-Shot Learning, Meta-Learning, Self-Supervised Learning, Biomedical Image Analysis, Remote Sensing, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Information Theory and Data Compression.
