I am research professor at NTNU Social Research, department Center for economic research in Trondheim, Norway. The department is located at the Department of Economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. I am also a member of the research group at the Concept Research Programme, which develops ways of improving the use of resources and enhancing the effects of major public investments.

Center for economic research conducts externally financed research. Our clients are typically ministries, directorates, professional and industrial bodies, the central bank of Norway, and The Research Council of Norway.

My main research interest is public sector economics, more precise labor economics, economics of education, and public economics/finance.
