Zombie Hog

Spawning

Spawns naturally in groups of 1-2 in Nether Wastes biomes.

Breeding

Zombie Hogs can be bred using poisonous potato. After breeding, the parents have a cooldown of 5 minutes before they can breed again. Baby zombie hogs mature in 20 minutes and stay near their parents. Feeding them reduces the remaining time to maturity by 10%.

Behavior

Zombie Hogs roam the Nether avoiding hazards and harmful falls. 

They are hostile towards piglins, piglin beasts and piggies.

Zombie Hogs follow players holding poisonous potato within a radius of six blocks.

Curing

Giving a zombie hog the Weakness effect and then feeding it a ruby apple starts the curing process. After five minutes, it transforms into a hog, displaying purple Nausea status effect particles for 10 seconds after being cured. (The zombie hog must be in the overworld or the end, otherwise he will not be able to heal.)
