Soul Mushrooms are variants of nether cows, covered in Soul Fungus, they inhabit the Soul Forest biome.
Soul Mooshrooms can spawn in Soul Forest biomes in herds of 1–2 and on Soul Nylium.
Breeding
A pair of soul mooshrooms can breed after being given soul wheat. Feeding soul wheat to a baby soul mooshroom shortens its growing time by 10% of the remaining time. Baby soul mooshrooms do not have soul fungus on their backs. Soul Fungus appear once the baby grows to an adult.
Breeding

On Death
Raw Beef: 1-3
Leather: 0-2
XP: 1-3 (when killed by a player or tamed wolf)
Shearing a soul mooshroom drops 5 soul fungus and turns into a normal cow, emitting a smaller version of the explosion particle. The soul fungus do not grow back. Like other baby animals, killing a baby mooshroom yields no items or experience.
Soul Mooshrooms have the same AI behavior as cows: they walk around slowly and aimlessly, huffing and mooing occasionally. They avoid danger such as cliffs, fire, or lava, but make no attempt to stay out of water.
A soul mooshroom follows a player holding soul wheat.
Milking
A soul mooshroom can be milked by using a bucket on it, yielding a milk bucket. Soul Mooshrooms can also be milked using bowls to get soul fungus stew (has 5 minutes cooldown).
