Ashley Sheardown is a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Calgary, majoring in Geography. While travelling around Asia, she visited Japan and saw a special exhibit on the creation of the ukiyo-e art series "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji". This sparked an abiding interest in the ukiyo-e artform and, combined with a love of Japanese history and mythology, led to the creation of this presentation.
