I've seen this exact issue talked about on the android app, but nothing on desktop. Whilst playing songs, the audio will randomly stop, whilst the bar below the pause button acts like the audio is still playing. Before, rewinding to a part where audio had played would work as a temporary fix, but now the audio just stops playing at the same part no matter how many times I rewind. When I skip to the next song it plays like normal (unless the same issue happens halfway through a song again, which it has). It's been happening with more frequency lately.

Hello, I am experiencing several songs not playing in the web browser. I'm not sure if it an encoding or formatting issue or something else entirely. I'm finding roughly 20% of the songs are not playing. This occurs in the web player on Chrome & Edge on several different PCs using different accounts. The songs still play on the apps (Windows & Android) so maybe not server related.

I've tried most of the suggestions online i.e. turning off audio enhancements/deleting caches/ changing chrome settings without luck. because the is arises over several PCs on different web browsers and different accounts I assume it to be a bug in the web player.

I am a Premium subscriber in the US using a Chromebook to access your PWA. As of this morning, random songs that appear to be available are not playing. I already cleared my browser cache, and the issue persists. It is becoming increasingly irritating to have to waste my time every 2 or so weeks reporting new issues with your systems that impact enjoyment of a subscription service I'm presently paying to use. Playback is normal with the Android app on a phone, so this seems to be the Web Player acting up again. Also, Chrome OS is up to date on my device. Please advise.

Another observation, the songs which refuse to play are consistent, e.g. a song that refused to play 5 hours ago still refuses to play.

I've also cleared all local cache and cookies which didn't resolve the issue.

update

even some Korn songs that are not marked as explicity are muted. It's not affect all korn songs thought so it's not something related to Korn iself since I also tested with a slipknot song.

I am experiencing the same problem: I've tried several browsers in both normal and incognito modes, but the result is the same. The songs that refuse to play are consistent; none of the browsers or browsing modes I've tried could play them. In the mean time the android app plays them well...

Seems that songs that where broken for me yesterday are working again, in case any issues show up ill post here but otherwise consider the issue partially resolved.

I'd still prefer to see some kind of error message instead of nothing happening when songs fail to play.

ALABAMA & Friends commemorates that summer at The Bowery and catalogues the lasting influence the group has had on generations of Country stars who draw inspiration from the sparkling harmonies, irresistible stage presence and world-class songwriting and song selection that made them superstars. It brings together some of Country's biggest stars, each bringing a unique musical approach to classic ALABAMA songs that have influenced them.

The songs here are, of course, among the most memorable in country history. Included are "My Home's In Alabama," the band's first major hit and the song that introduced them to the world; "Tennessee River," their very first #1; "Old Flame" and "Love in the First Degree," from their second RCA album; "Lady Down On Love," a harmony-laden example of Randy's songwriting prowess; "The Closer You Get," released halfway through their streak of 21 chart-toppers; "She And I," from the mid-'80s; and "Forever's As Far As I'll Go" and "I'm In A Hurry (And Don't Know Why)," which helped kick off the '90s, in which the boys earned 29 more chart hits, including 22 #1 or Top 5 singles.

Capping the project are two new tracks by ALABAMA, songs that find the band making music that sounds both classic and relevant. They worked with legendary producer Harold Shedd, who worked with them in those golden early days and went on to discover Shania Twain, Toby Keith and many others.

"We believed we had something pretty special from a vocal standpoint," says Teddy, "and we were looking for the opportunity to prove it. There were a lot of times when we wondered whether we might be better off going back home and getting jobs, but we just kept rehearsing and writing songs, trying to get better and believing we could do it."

"I was in Nashville," he says, "walking by this club full of young people--I'm talking 18 or 20. The band started playing 'Dixieland Delight' and everybody in the place started singing and sang all the way through. I had to smile at the longevity of the songs. Maybe some of those kids didn't even know who ALABAMA was, but they knew the music, and so I think that's a tribute to the fact that we spent a career putting out good songs that stand the test of time."

When it comes to music Teddy plays by ear and has written hundreds of songs. He has co-written many of the Alabama hits -- "How Do I Fall In Love," "Why Lady Why," "My Home's In Alabama," "Fallin' Again," "Give Me One More Shot," "Sad Lookin' Moon," to name a few. He's also the founder and president of Creative Cafe.

When not touring with Alabama, Randy says he enjoys being alone with immediate family and most importantly, away from the telephone. While on the job, he strums a smooth and steady rhythm guitar and sings most of the solo vocals on the group's hits. He has played music since the age of 6 and has been playing with Alabama for 28 years. Randy plays by ear and says that he doesn't know how many songs he has written but jokes that "some of them have been recorded on the albums."

Since Alabama left the road in 2004, Jeff did not miss a beat forming the Allstar Goodtime Band (AGB). Jeff and this eight piece band have several CD's out which include several number one songs on the Independent charts. "Having a horn section has enabled us to widen the scope of our music" Jeff says.

I am working on building a web-based application that interfaces with spotify. I started with C# and had no problem accessing the API, pulling my playlist and pulling tracks off of it but it seems you cannot play songs with the spotify Web API located here:

Another problem is that you actually never created a Spotify Connect device. Which is needed in order to use the Spotify Web API to control that exact device. This works by calling connect on the Spotify.Player instance. In order to know when connect is done and the player is ready to play songs you need to define a listener first as shown in the following. 0852c4b9a8
