The dated and signed paper based CE form should be returned to the Fund (either by mail or submitted electronically through MSS) no later than 31 December 2023 to avoid the risk of benefit suspension.

Alternatively, if your benefit is not paid under the two-track, you can download your CE form in MSS under the Documents tab (it is made available around June each year). It is important that the CE is mailed back to the UNJSPF or submitted electronically via MSS even if you write to indicate that you are still alive. A letter will suffice only to defer suspension of your benefit.

Should the retiree/beneficiary continue to thumbprint their CEs in the following years, and the same physician authenticates their thumbprint on future CE forms, no new medical certificate is required; however, if a different doctor authenticates their thumbprint on future CE forms, a NEW medical statement must be issued by the new authenticating doctor and must be attached to the CE form authenticated by that new doctor in line with the usual requirements.

An Old-Age Security pension is paid to anyone in Canada who is at least age 65 and has been a resident of Canada for at least 10 years after age 18. This pension is payable outside Canada for only six months following the month of departure from Canada unless the person has at least 20 years of Canadian residence after age 18. No work credits are required.

CPP retirement pensioners who continue to work and are under age 70, can continue to contribute to the CPP. The CPP contributions will go toward post-retirement benefits (PRB), which will increase their retirement income.

As of January 2019, retirement pension recipients under the age of 65 who are disabled may receive the post-retirement disability benefit. These individuals must meet the same medical and contributory requirements as the disability pension.

An allowance is paid to the spouse or common law partner (whether of the same or different sex who have lived together for at least one year) of an OAS pensioner when the couple has little or no income. The spouse or common-law partner must be age 60-64 and the OAS beneficiary must also be receiving GIS. The allowance is payable outside Canada for only six months following the month of departure from Canada.

If you live outside Sweden and receive a pension from the Swedish Pensions Agency or compensation from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you need to provide a life certificate every year. The easiest way to do this is on the web.

Every year we therefore send out a letter with a life certificate to anyone who cannot be identified by the electronic exchange that takes place with certain countries. Starting in 2022, we will send out the letter during the summer.

If you have not received a life certificate, it may be because we have not sent out the life certificate yet. Check when we send it to the country you live in.When do we send letters with a life certificate

If you cannot get to one of the authorised agencies or institutions listed above, for example, due to a hospital visit or similar, the Swedish Pensions Agency may, in exceptional circumstances, agree to your life certificate being certified by a doctor or someone else of a similar professional credibility. There are no other exceptions to this rule.

Sweden exchanges life certificates electronically with countries where there is a sizeable population of Swedish pensioners. This means that your life certificate is automatically submitted without you having to do anything.

Even if you live in a country with which the Swedish Pensions Agency exchanges certificates electronically, you may still receive a life certificate by post. This is because an automated identification of personal information is not always possible. If you receive your life certificate by post, please fill in the details required, get it stamped and submit it to us.

We collaborate with a number of insurance companies linked to the e-services of the Swedish Pensions Agency. As a result, if getting paid occupational or private pension, you do not have to send your life certificate to all your insurance companies.

IMPORTANT: Consulates are no longer authorized to sign these documents. The provisions of the pension plans are overseen by the Pension Committee, which is chaired by the President of the IDB Group and includes executive directors, senior management and elected representatives of active staff and retired participants.

Furthermore, section 9 of Article 15 of the SRP Document indicates that when the increase in the CPI is greater than 5%, the Pension Committee, after consultation with the Bank, may grant a pension supplement equal to some or all of the excess over 5%.

Pay attention to embossed seals: as they will not appear when you scan them, make sure to shade it with a pencil before scanning your certificate and uploading it on your online account.

It provides factual information on the required criteria for a pension scheme to be an automatic enrolment scheme and/or a qualifying scheme, as set out in legislation. This includes the requirements for both UK and non-UK pension schemes.

We recognise that many employers will already have pension provision for their workers, and that this will often match or exceed the minimum requirements contained in the duties. In these cases, such employers may just need to check that the minimum requirements are covered in their existing processes.

2. An employer who is putting a pension scheme in place for the first time to fulfil their enrolment duties, will need to put an automatic enrolment scheme in place with effect from the date one of the duties above first apply to them.

7. It is important to note that these criteria are the minimum features the pension scheme is required to have. There will be other things to consider before an employer makes a decision about what type of pension scheme to use.

8. Some employers will pay for professional advice while others will make decisions with information from a range of sources. We support employers in understanding the process for selecting a pension scheme for automatic enrolment.

12. A pension scheme whose main administration is in a country outside the UK cannot be used for automatic enrolment. It can be a qualifying scheme, provided it meets the relevant criteria, and so may be used for existing members of the pension scheme.

14. An automatic enrolment scheme must meet the automatic enrolment criteria, the qualifying criteria and the minimum requirements. An employer must ensure that their pension scheme meets the criteria to be an automatic enrolment scheme if they want to use it for automatic enrolment, or for enrolling any jobholders who have opted in. ff782bc1db
