ABOUT

Olathe Youth Lacrosse provides athletes in grades 1st-8th in the Olathe, Gardner, & Spring Hill area the opportunity to learn and play the great sport of lacrosse competitively at the top-level.

Olathe Youth Lacrosse, previously known as the "Olathe Crush" was founded by Rob McCarthy and later changed it's name to the "Olathe Jokers" after Rob's late brother John "Mac" McCarthy, who lost his battle with leukemia on July 25th, 2012. John, a previous All-American and 2x NY Lacrosse State Champion, founded the original Jokers Lacrosse Club in central Florida and was named US Lacrosse "Man of the Year for Florida" in 2011 after growing the club to over 200 youth players and coaches. John truly loved the sport of lacrosse and he touched the lives of so many young players and coaches in the lacrosse world. We hope that his spirit and passion for the sport lives on throughout our organization for years to come.

Our goal at Olathe Lacrosse is to create an organization and culture where our Olathe-area youth can develop a passion for the sport of lacrosse and spread the love of the game. We take pride in our commitment to player development and relationship building between our parents, players, and coaches.
