1. Overview
OktalZ Loop is a local reminder and routine-management application.
The app is designed to work without an account, login, advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud service.
2. Data Access and Collection
OktalZ Loop does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information with the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
The app does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking technologies, or external cloud services.
Information entered or imported by the user is processed locally on the user’s device and is not uploaded to OktalZ Apps or an external server.
3. Local Storage
The following information may be stored locally on the user’s device:
Reminder titles
Reminder notes
Reminder dates and times
Reminder categories
Repetition settings
Completed reminders
App preferences
Language and time-format settings
Imported calendar-event information
This information remains on the device unless the user manually exports a backup file.
4. Optional Calendar Import
OktalZ Loop includes an optional feature that allows users to import events from calendars available on their Android device.
Calendar access is requested only after the user deliberately selects the calendar-import feature and grants permission.
Depending on the information available in the calendar, the app may locally process:
Calendar name
Event title
Event date and time
All-day event status
Event description or notes
Event location
Event identifier used to prevent duplicate imports
Imported calendar events are converted into local OktalZ Loop reminders.
Calendar information is:
Processed only on the user’s device
Not uploaded to OktalZ Apps
Not shared with advertisers or third parties
Not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking
Not accessed continuously in the background
Calendars shared by other people may appear if they are already synchronized and available through the user’s Android calendar.
OktalZ Loop does not independently contact calendar owners or access calendars that are not available on the device.
Users may refuse calendar permission and continue using all manually created reminder features. Calendar permission may be revoked at any time through Android system settings.
5. Permissions
OktalZ Loop may request Android permissions required for its features, including:
Notification permission: used to display reminder notifications
Exact alarm permission: used to deliver reminders at the selected time
Full-screen alarm permission: used to display important reminder alarms on the screen
Vibration permission: used to vibrate while a reminder alarm is active
Device restart permission: used to restore pending reminders after the phone restarts
Calendar permission: used only when the user chooses to import calendar events
These permissions are used only to provide the features described above.
They are not used for advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling, or selling personal information.
Users may deny or revoke permissions through Android system settings. Some reminder features may not work correctly when the required permission is disabled.
6. Backup and Restore
Users may manually export or import a local JSON backup.
Backup files are created only when the user chooses to export them. The files are saved to a location selected by the user.
OktalZ Loop does not automatically upload backup files to the developer or an external server.
The user is responsible for protecting and deleting manually exported backup files.
7. Health-Related Reminders
OktalZ Loop may be used to create optional reminders for activities such as taking medicine.
The app does not provide:
Medical advice
Medical diagnosis
Treatment recommendations
Health monitoring
Emergency medical services
Health-related reminders remain stored locally on the user’s device.
Users should always follow instructions provided by a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Reminders, imported calendar events, settings, and other app information remain stored locally until the user deletes them.
Users can delete individual reminders or completed reminders directly inside OktalZ Loop.
Users can remove all locally stored app information by:
Clearing the app’s storage through Android settings
Uninstalling the app
Revoking calendar permission prevents future calendar imports. Calendar events already imported as reminders remain on the device until the user deletes them.
Manually exported backup files remain in the location selected by the user and must be deleted separately through the device’s file manager or storage provider.
9. Internet, Advertising, and Tracking
OktalZ Loop does not require an account or login.
The app does not include:
Advertising
Analytics
Tracking technologies
Social-media tracking
User profiling
Cloud synchronization
Third-party data collection services
10. Children
OktalZ Loop is not specifically designed, directed, or marketed toward children.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if OktalZ Loop’s features or data-handling practices change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
