A Four-Way War in the Ruins of the Mithril Mountains
In a long-forgotten valley of the Mithril Mountains, among the shattered spires and moss-covered ruins of an ancient city, four mighty armies converged. The earth trembled under the weight of war machines and scaled behemoths. From the North came the stoic Knight Battle Brothers, armored in tradition and steel. The South shimmered with the grace and magic of the High Elf Fleets. To the East, the primal might of the Saurian Starhost advanced, cold-blooded and relentless. From the West, a more elite and revered force—the Prime Knight Battle Brothers—answered the call to arms.
Six key objectives were scattered across the field. Each army drew mission cards from their faction decks, ensuring that the goals of war shifted like the sands of fate. A brutal, unpredictable battle was about to begin.
Deployment & Round 1: The Calm Before the Storm
Each faction moved cautiously into position, preparing for the carnage to come. Initial skirmishes saw minor wounds exchanged, but the true war had yet to ignite. All eyes were on the objectives—and on each other.
Round 2: Lines Collide
The battlefield erupted. The Knight Brothers and the Prime Knights clashed in a thunderous melee, their armored forms locked in combat. Across the valley, ambush units emerged, turning flanks and disrupting plans.
The Saurians' Ankolosaur lumbered toward the central objective, shrugging off a hailstorm of fire from every direction. The T-Rex-mounted Saurian leader pressed forward, only to be met by arcane blasts from a towering Elf Elemental.
The High Elves danced around the carnage, launching long-range volleys and shielding themselves with powerful magic. Every faction claimed ground, but the field remained uncertain.
Round 3: Blood in the Ruins
The battle's weight began to tell. Units fell. The field grew sparse.
The Knight Brothers, bloodied but unbroken, continued their strategic mission-point grind. The Prime Knights, seeing an opportunity, swarmed the weakened Ankolosaur, who refused to fall.
The High Elves’ Shifters struck with precision, teleporting into position and firing deadly blasts into the Saurian ranks.
The once-mighty Saurians were buckling. Both they and the Knight Brothers were in dire straits.
Round 4: The Fall of the Saurians
The final round was a storm of destruction.
Besieged from all sides, the Saurians crumbled. Their great beasts—the Ankolosaur and the T-Rex-mounted warlord—finally fell. Only a lone Frog Mage survived, croaking his final spell in defiance.
The Knight Brothers, battered but alive, seized a final few objectives and held the line against Prime Knight aggression.
The High Elves darted across the battlefield, securing last-minute objectives with graceful speed.
But it would not be enough.
Knight Battle Brothers (North): 10 Points – Victory!
High Elf Fleets (South): 7 Points
Prime Knight Brothers (West): 4 Points
Saurian Starhost (East): 3 Points
This battle was a case study in strategy over slaughter.
The Knight Brothers’ focus on mission cards, even while taking losses, paid off.
The High Elves proved that speed and precision are dangerous in the hands of a patient commander.
The Prime Knights dominated in combat, but lacked the flexibility to secure key points.
The Saurians, brave and beastly, were undone by crossfire and the ever-shifting objectives.
Narratively, the ruins now lie strewn with the bones of saurian giants and broken mechs. The valley echoes with the whispers of fallen warriors.
Players reported this match as one of the most cinematic and dynamic games yet. The shifting objectives from the mission decks kept every round fresh and forced creative plays. The Saurians' heroic last stand, the Elves’ surgical strikes, and the Knight Brothers’ grind-to-win made for unforgettable moments.
Beyond the battlefield, the halls of the Mithril Mountains were alive with energy. Nearby allies—Dungeon Masters, Adventurers, Monsters, and more—filled the villages, dungeons, and shadowy corners of the realm with their own tales of magic, mischief, and mayhem. The world of gaming was vibrant and thriving, making the day one of shared storytelling and epic memories across every table.
