Oil Price Today (the "App") is provided by APPIO SMART ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
The App does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, payment information, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. It does not show advertising and does not sell or share personal information for advertising.
The App stores the preferences you choose locally on your device, including your selected country, colour-theme preference, refresh interval, and notification preference. These preferences are not sent to us as part of the App's normal operation. You can remove them by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.
To display fuel-price information, the App connects to our API at api.oilpricetoday.com. Requests identify the country whose price information is requested and may include a refresh parameter. They do not include your name, contact details, account details, advertising ID, or precise location.
As is typical for an internet service, our API and hosting infrastructure may process your IP address, request time, requested endpoint, and limited technical error information to deliver the service, prevent abuse, maintain security, and troubleshoot faults. We do not use this information to identify you, create a profile, or serve advertising.
Retention: security and operational logs are retained for no longer than 30 days, unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse, protect the service, or comply with applicable law. We do not maintain user accounts or a user-profile database.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers. We may use hosting, infrastructure, and security service providers that process the limited server-log information described above solely on our behalf to operate and secure the service. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the security, rights, or property of the App, its users, or others.
The production App communicates with our API using HTTPS. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the service. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure, however.
The App is a general-audience fuel-price information service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You may change or remove the App's locally stored preferences at any time through the App, by clearing the App's storage, or by uninstalling the App. If you have a privacy question or a request concerning information processed in server logs, contact us using the details below. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
