OhMaSoul are a regional New South Wales duo blending intricate grooves, jazzy harmonies, and a cheeky lyrical twist into a sound that’s as thoughtful as it is funky. Featuring Jemimah Hiscox on vocals and percussion and James Brinkhoff on keys and analog bass, they create a rich, full sound that belies their size, grounded in a natural musical connection.

Their songs drift between soulful storytelling and playful observation, touching on love, loss, rusty old trucks, and office-speak absurdity, while leaving room for groove and spontaneity.

Their debut EP Always Here (with Tom Hogarth on drums, recorded by Pat Harris and mixed by Jim Kelly) captures the warmth and chemistry of their live sets.
