The stadium is a football stadium in Columbus, Ohio, America. The stadium builds on the Ohio State University campus. The primary purpose of this stadium is to provide the home venue to the football team of Ohio State Buckeyes. Every year in May, the Spring Commencement ceremonies of University have been organizing at this site only.

Between 1996 and 1998, Ohio Stadium had become the home venue for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer before the inauguration of Columbus Crew Stadium in the year 1999. It also was the staying venue for the teams of OSU track and field from 1923 to 2001.
