Oguzhan Cepni, Phd

I am a Senior Economist at the Economic Analysis and Research Department of the Central Bank of The UAE (CBUAE). I obtained my Ph.D. from Department of Economics, Copenhagen Business School (CBS). My research interest covers the areas of Empirical Asset Pricing, Climate Finance, Household Finance, Monetary Economics, and Applied Macroeconomics. Before joining the CBUAE,  I worked at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye in different positions, including Economist, Director, and Deputy Executive Director (General).

My prior works have been published in Journal of Financial Markets, The European Journal of Finance, International Journal of Forecasting, Energy Economics,  Annals of Operation Research, Economics Letters, The Energy Journal, Annals of Tourism Research, Emerging Markets Review and Journal of Forecasting.
