Welcome to the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists
We are a community of believers dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ, growing in faith, and serving others with compassion. Rooted in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit, we seek to glorify God through worship, discipleship, and outreach—both at home and around the world.
Whether you are a lifelong member, a new visitor, or someone searching for a deeper connection with Christ, we welcome you with open arms. Here, you will find resources for spiritual growth, opportunities for fellowship, and ways to use your God-given gifts to make a difference.
Join us as we walk in faith together, united in love, service, and the mission of advancing God’s kingdom. We invite you to explore, connect, and be part of the work God is doing through the Original Free Will Baptists.
Welcome home.
Ministry Month: November
The Convention of Original Free Will Baptists has designated November as Free Will Baptist Press Month — a time to celebrate and support the ongoing ministry of The Press.
The Free Will Baptist Press began with a simple yet significant resolution passed by the General Conference of Free Will Baptists of North Carolina on November 5, 1873. Since that day, the Press has faithfully served the Original Free Will Baptist denomination, sharing the message of Christ through Christian literature and resources for more than 150 years.
In 2023, important updates were made to the leadership and operation of The Press.
The Reverend Dr. John E. Hill, Jr. now serves as CEO and Editor
Mr. Rick Watson serves as CFO
Mr. Darren Davenport serves as COO
Today, the ministry continues under the name Cross and Crown, the operational name of the Free Will Baptist Press Foundation. Its mission is:
“To glorify the name of Jesus by being a beacon of light to our local community and a destination where seekers can come to know God and believers can come for Christian inspirational materials to grow in their faith.”
