Shatterer of the Red Branch
The nephew of King Conchobar mac Nessa of Ulster, and the oldest son of Uisneach. One of the best hunters and knights of all of Ulster and known as the most beautiful man in all of Ireland. He would help Deirdre of the Sorrows escape her captivity and future marriage to Conchobar, and then would die due to his uncle's betrayal.
AKA: Naoise of Ulster, Naisi, Son of Uisneach, Dullahan

CLASS: Avenger
TRAITS: Fae, Humanoid, Non-Hominidae Servant, Servant, Weak to Enuma Elish, Male, Fairy Tale Servant, Riding
PRONOUNS: He/Him
SEXUALITY: Gay
NOTES: Naoise's Saint Graph was fused with a Dullahan while in the Throne thanks to the many broken oaths he was at the center of. This has altered him enough to be considered a Fae Servant.
The Dullahan keeps the worst of Naoise's anger and hatred calmed, leaving him as an Avenger that is easy enough to work with despite his disdain and bitterness towards human history.
He has no grudge against Deirdre despite everything because he understood her desperation to be free. She's one of the few Ulster Cycle Servants he would not desire to kill should he happen across her in Chaldea. But at the same time he won't actively seek her out either.
His sword, a gift from Manannan Mac Lir, has had its form changed thanks to the Dullahan influence. What was once a sword is now a scythe, but it returns to the true form of the blade upon use of Naoise's Noble Phantasm.
Don't ask him about Conchobar. Don't ask him to work with Conchobar. Just don't bring him up at all around him.
Ordinarily he's good at keeping the act of a princely and kind man going, the way he used to be in life. But he's got a definite bloodlust and love of violence that's been amplified by his class container and current saint graph situation.

Naoise son of Uisneach.
The tragic figure proclaimed to be the lover of Deirdre of the Sorrows who would cause the breaking of the Red Branch.
A man whose despair and anger overwhelmed his kind nature in the end of his life, leading to his fusion with a Faerie of Death, the Dullahan.
His desire for vengeance against King Conchobar and all those who follow him has caused him to be summoned as an Avenger. Driven only by his hatred and need to take the heads of those who broke their oaths.

When Naoise was a young child he was left with King Conchobar by his mother, alongside his infant brothers, to be raised by the man. His mother was too broken after the loss of Uisneach to wish to even look upon her chilren, but she still made sure her younger brother swore an oath to her. An oath that should he break it would bring untold disaster and despair to him and his lands, she threatened. The oath was simple: let no harm come to Naoise or his brothers, not by him either through actions direct or indirect. And Conchobar agreed, swearing it without any hesitation.
Satisfied, Naoise's mother left without another word to her brother or her children.
And thus Naoise was to be raised in the care of Conchobar, alongside many other children.
The boy would grow into a handsome and talented youth. One who adored poetry and music as much as he dove into mastering the sword and the bow. A knight, a poet, and a hunter all in one. A prince among princes who would soon be spoken of as the most beautiful man to ever live in all of Ireland, something made more apparent with his raven dark hair and deep blue eyes. Traits that were considered especially appealing for the people of Ulster.
Tall and brave, Naoise would wander the lands ruled by his uncle often.
And everywhere he went he would sing or play an ocarina, inviting others to join him in dance and song for the sake of merrymaking and nothing more.
Yes indeed it would seem he was only still and quiet when he hunted, accompanied only by his hounds, well-trained to keep silent.
It was on one of those hunts, however, that the doom prophesized by Cathbad upon Naoise's birth would begin to take hold.
