A young man from the Pendragon clan who simply wishes to live an ordinary life surrounded by his friends with the one he loves at his side. At his age it's a surprise that his magic has yet to manifest and, while that is some cause of anxiety for Arthur, he finds that it allows him to live the normal life he always wanted. But destiny will not allow someone to escae its clutches for long and the day may soon come that he will be forced to leave that ordinary time behind him.
This verse is shared with Emrys and other Arthurian related muses.

Once upon a time there was a kingdom with a castle made of pure white quartz, ruled by a great king with a holy sword and sacred powers. The king was served by his loyal knights, all gifted with their own magics, and together they worked to keep the land safe and free from evils. Across the kingdom the people were happy and at peace, their fields rich with crops and livestock and magic flowed freely like the wind.
But one day an Evil rose from another land, seeking to conquer the lands of the king and his knights. A terrible war followed, and, in the end, the king sacrificed himself to seal the Evil beneath the castle while sealing the building itself within a barrier that would never fall. His knights, grieving deeply, took the king's children and people to other lands. And the city around the castle would be abandoned, while the sealed palace within the barrier would slowly be overgrown by plants...but never collapse. Eventually future mages would seal the forest that sprung up around the castle as well, fully encasing what remained of that kingdom within barriers intended to be unbreakable.
As for the holy sword the king had wielded, it is believed his most loyal and true knight returned it to the faerie queen who gifted it originally, and that she hid it somewhere for the future.
Ater all, there was a prophecy made.
"The barrier shall fall and the lord of evil shall once more rise to conquer the lands. The Once and Future King will take up his sword and with the light of the stars and world shall guide him true."

Thus goes the story that Arthur grew up loving, always begging his uncle to tell it to him before bed. It was his favorite story, even if it was historical fact instead of fiction. But it made him happy to hear about his heroic ancestor who gave everything he had to defeat a being of pure evil.
