OFFSIDE

OFFSIDE is a pan-African photography competition embedded in the second axis

of the immersive exhibition In the heart of the game : The African Jersey as Subject and

Work of Art in collaboration with LE CLUB DES FADA, a collective, creative studio,

and members' club based in Benin that unites emerging cultural scenes across West Africa and

its diaspora under the patronage of the Borna Soglo Gallery

The competition adopts a visual and narrative approach to the jersey as a living and

identity-charged object. Participants are invited to explore its cultural and symbolic

role in contemporary African imaginaries through documentary, editorial, or

experimental  photography.
