OfflineTent is designed for offline navigation and does not collect personally identifiable information (PII).
We do not collect or store your name, email, photos, videos, chat messages, or any user-generated content.
We only access the following data for core app functionality:
1.1 Location Information (Required for Navigation)
We access your device location while you are using the App.
This information is used only on your device to calculate navigation routes and relative distances.
We do not store, transmit, upload, or share your location to any server.
1.2 Device Sensor Data
We may use certain device sensors to enable navigation features:
Compass / magnetometer
Accelerometer
Gyroscope
These sensors help determine direction and orientation.
We do not collect or store any sensor data.
1.3 Diagnostic Data (Optional, Apple-controlled)
Apple may provide anonymous crash logs or performance metrics if you enable Share with App Developers in iOS settings.
This data is not personally identifiable and is controlled by Apple.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
OfflineTent does not collect, store, or upload:
Names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Photos or videos
Chat messages
Contacts
Payment information
Advertising identifiers
IP addresses
Exact or approximate location on our servers
Any data used for tracking
We do not use cookies, do not run ads, and do not track your behavior.
3. How Your Information Is Used
Your location & sensor data are used only on your device for:
Calculating navigation routes
Showing direction to a selected meeting point
Enabling compass-based guidance
We do not send your data anywhere.
We do not use your data for analytics, marketing, or profiling.
4. Data Storage & Retention
OfflineTent stores no personal data on its servers.
All location and sensor data:
stays locally on your device,
is processed in real time, and
is not retained or uploaded.
When you delete the App, all locally stored settings are also removed.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not share, sell, or trade your data with any third parties.
The only third party involved is Apple, which may collect anonymized diagnostic information if you opt in.
6. Children’s Privacy
OfflineTent does not collect personal information from children.
If you are under 13, you must use the App with parental or guardian consent.
7. Security
Although we do not collect or store data, we use industry-standard security practices to ensure that the App operates safely on your device.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in app features or legal requirements.
Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
