My name is Jackie Vallejos. I absolutely love being a teacher at Oak Forest Elementary! It is a place of joy and happiness for me. I am proud to live in this area full of spirit and a community of outstanding citizens that have a passion for education. Oak Forest warms my heart for so many reasons especially because my two daughters attended here, and I have dedicated all of my teaching years just to this one magical place!

I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. This is my 14th year of teaching and most of those years were spent in fourth grade math and some 3rd grade math, my favorite grades to teach! My students are super important to me and I enjoy when, later in life, they remember to come back to visit me, especially when it is to announce their college graduation!

I love to travel to my most significant places like Colorado or Chicago, where I am from. When I am home, I love to read trending books, hanging out with my family, watch news magazine shows, or just keep up with my teacher hobbies.

During this school year I plan to keep positive vibes and do my very best for my students to love school. I will unwind and refuel by visiting my college girl, Kenzie, at TCU, or get spirited with my cheerleader, Karleigh, at FBMS! I count my blessings every single day and am grateful for everything I have.
