My name is Jackie Vallejos. I absolutely love being a teacher at Oak Forest Elementary! It is a place of joy and happiness for me. I am proud to live in this area full of spirit and a community of outstanding citizens that have a passion for education. Oak Forest warms my heart for so many reasons especially because my two daughters attended here, and I have dedicated all of my teaching years just to this one magical place!

I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. This is my 14^th year of teaching and most of those years were spent in fourth grade math and some 3^rd grade math, my favorite grades to teach! My students are super important to me and I enjoy when, later in life, they remember to come back to visit me, especially when it is to announce their college graduation!

I love to travel to my most significant places like Colorado or Chicago, where I am from. When I am home, I love to read trending books, hanging out with my family, watch news magazine shows, or just keep up with my teacher hobbies.

During this school year I plan to keep positive vibes and do my very best for my students to love school. I will unwind and refuel by visiting my college girl, Kenzie, at TCU, or get spirited with my cheerleader, Karleigh, at FBMS! I count my blessings every single day and am grateful for everything I have.
