One of my player's really wants to use the [Lurker of the Deep]( -AberrantLurk.pdf) UA Patron, and wants to have a fitting familiar with Pact of the Chain for it. Now I understand there is the Octopus that can be used as a familiar, but I want to give him something on par with the Quasit familiar. However it would be fine to make it slightly better because I would probably think he should take the [Investment of the Pact Master]( -ClassFeatures.pdf) Invocation from UA to make it more reasonable, and if he has to use an entire Invocation to make the familiar work better then I want to give him something more special than a re-skinned Quasit.

Now this familiar isn't gonna be an actually octopus, more like a weak baby Kraken. I was trying to think of abilities that work well with an Octopus, and I was thinking of like instead of having camouflage it could actually turn invisible, and make the ink-cloud ability a little better like working above water too. I wanted to also have a shared ability with it's master so I could do magic resistance, but I was thinking of giving him a 5ft range True Sight if the Octopus is close enough because a Kraken has true sight, and also so he could see through his Octopus's ink-cloud.

I was thinking that I could possibly give him a magic item later on that makes his familiar even better as well, because well I would be trying to give all players some specialized magic item for fun.

Hi guys, after barely getting through the first 'phase' of the octopus battle the game crashes for the person who owns the game at the duck part. We already struggled to get through the first phase with a lot of lag, connection or something else we don't know. We tried multiple things: restart computers, clear caches, Ethernet internet instead of wifi and setting all display settings to low and 30fps. Even though we live far apart, Holland and Brazil, our internet is fine and we played up until this point of the game perfectly fine as well. This is why we have the feeling that it has to do with a bug in the game.
