I play Genshin Impact and normally mirror my phone screen to my monitor to play, but I like being in dex because accessing Spotify, the browser and such is easier. Can I use Octopus gamepad in DeX? I've tried using it but the overlay doesn't appear so I worry that it doesn't. But I could be wrong.

hello everyone i'm a huge fan of the previous console games and now i'm almost a week into this one, i was just trying to figure out a way to play with my dualshok 3, octopus was apparently working but i get worry sick to lose al my progress when opening the game from octopus the game was giving me the usual stuff when you open it for the first time (agree to this and that ecc.) i was having the game open twice at the same time also (WTF) like i having a different id/device or something, maybe the thing is solvable through the "transfer id" fuction (but i never use it) so can anyone help me on the matter before I do something irreparable to my progress? is there a way to make a backup so i can try safely?
But some games have banned usage of such app, Like PUBG banned Octopus usage as well as users. I have tried Panda Gamepad when it was free, Octopus and Shooting Plus, they all worked at the time I tested.
