This conference aims to bring together experts on various topological aspects of varieties defined over arithmetic bases to give talks to a wider audience consisting of graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and other mathematicians working in arithmetic geometry. We hope that the workshop can create an environment for the participants at all levels to meet and talk in person, and seek new collaborations.
There is a poster session Friday night (October 7th) for graduate students to present their work. We encourage students to sign up for this event and for everyone to attend. Graduate students who present their work during the session will be prioritized for funding.
This conference is organized by Jordan Ellenberg, Wanlin Li, Ananth Shankar, and Ziquan Yang, and is only possible due to generous support by NSF DMS-2232776 and the UW Madison Mathematics Department.
This program supports the AWM welcoming environment statement.
