We encourage each club to send a representative to the meeting. Your insights, energy, and passion are what make our community vibrant and thriving. By joining the Youth Council, you'll be a part of shaping the future of Boulder County 4-H.

Membership consists of all leaders enrolled in the Boulder County 4-H program. Our next meeting will be held on October 7-6:30 pm

2024-25 ENROLLMENT NOW OPEN
Looking ahead! Get ready for some 4-H excitement! Here's the scoop on enrolling for the 2024-25 year:
Enrollment is OPEN
Any youth aged 5-18 as of December 31, 2024 can join.
Kids aged 5-7 join the Cloverbud project—no competition, just exploration.
Youth aged 8-18 choose their own 4-H projects.
Enroll at 4HOline with your family account.
Fees for 2024-25:
4-H Member Enrollment: $40.00 (plus a separate charge for manuals)
Cloverbud Enrollment: $40.00
Shooting Sports fee: $20.00 (if enrolled)
Dog fee: $20.00 (if enrolled)
Second Club enrollment: no extra fee
Family max. payment for initial enrollment: $120.00
Current Leaders: no charge; New Leaders: $5.00 for background check
Need-based enrollment scholarships are available. Application

2024-25 OPEN HOUSE
Join us for the Boulder County 4-H Open House on October 23, 2024, from 6:15-7:30 PM at the Exhibit Building.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our community members to learn more about 4-H, ask questions during our quick 10-minute session at 7:00 PM, and see what our program has to offer.
We encourage you to invite friends, family, and anyone interested in joining the 4-H community. Save the date and spread the word—let’s make this a great event together!
MILITARY MAIL
It’s that time of year again for our Military Mail project! For years, our Boulder County 4-H clubs have made a big impact with this initiative, and we’re excited to keep the tradition going.
How to Participate:
Use 8.5 x 11 paper or light card stock: Fold in half to create a card (8.5 x 5.5). Holiday-themed stationery is great!
Address cards to: “Dear Soldier,” “Dear Service Member,” or “Dear Veteran.”
Include your first name and club name on the card.
Use this return address: 9595 Nelson Road, Box B - Longmont, CO 80501.
Write a positive, cheerful message: Share about yourself, your family, or hobbies.
No envelopes needed.
Important Notes:
Avoid religious themes.
No glitter, three-dimensional items, or staples.
Please return all cards to the Extension Office by Friday, November 1, 2024. Be sure to label them with your club’s name. The deadline is approaching fast—don’t miss it!
NATIONAL 4-H WEEK
National 4-H Week: October 6-12
Celebrate National 4-H Week from October 6-12 and help us grow our 4-H community! This year's theme, "Beyond Ready," showcases the resilience and leadership of our 4-H youth.
We’re using this week to encourage new enrollments, and you can help! Invite a friend to our upcoming Open House or bring them to a meeting to introduce them to 4-H. You can also share our social media posts and help spread the word.
Let’s join forces to inspire more people to become part of the 4-H experience!
