I am a retired communications professional with decades of administrative experience in a Catholic school board setting. During my time as a stay-at-home parent for 18 years, I served as School Council Chair at two schools and led parent advocacy groups such as the Catholic School Parents' Association (CSPA).

During my 14-year career as Manager of Communications with the OCSB, I have come to appreciate the governance required to keep our schools healthy and happy places to learn and grow. I retired in 2019.

A strong Catholic School system provides a foundation for lifelong faith development, personal growth, and a passion for community service. We have a unique opportunity to help students on a lifelong faith journey by supporting families and our community.

I was honoured to be appointed by the Board in March 2022 to replace John Curry as Trustee of Zone 1.

I am committed to being an accessible and responsive resource for the ratepayers and parents in our community. I believe in honest, respectful communication and understand the complexities facing this generation of diverse youth. I believe striving for equity is essential to ensure each student gets what they require to help them meet their educational, social, and emotional needs.

I live in Ottawa with my husband, Phil, and have three children who have graduated from OCSB schools. The OCSB provided our children with quality Catholic education while supporting us as a family. One of our children is currently a teacher at the OCSB and our family has a long-standing relationship with St. Patrick Parish in Fallowfield. I am committed to giving back to my school community and hopeful you will give me the opportunity to represent Zone 1.
