Marissa Jonn

Marissa is a 4th year student at Okanagan College, but has been pursuing HRM over the last few years. Coming back to school after working in the personal financial industry for the last 5 years, Marissa is passionate about help other people become successful in their careers. Leading the HRM Club as president she hopes to bring this passion to other students in business and HR. In her spare time, you will find her enjoying a latte with her cat and unwinding through video games. As well as running her professioal photography business all over the Okanagan!

Heather Humphries

Heather Humphries is currently in her final, 4th year of her Bachelor’s Business Degree with a HR major. She previously worked as a legal assistant in various areas of law, which was where she discovered her passion for helping people. Heather was born and raised in Kelowna. When she’s not in class or arranging events for the HRM Club, Heather is usually found in the mountains either snowboarding or hiking. It’s been her enjoyment of meeting new people and embracing the simple joys of life that has taught her how helping people can make a difference in the long term. If she could, Heather would love to open an animal sanctuary where she could welcome various animals while working from home.
